Featuring trailers for the most highly anticipated and buzz-worthy books and movies!
Well gang, the holidays are almost here and you know that means that some of the best book to movie adaptations are right around the corner. Also, 2012 coming to a close, the movie and book industries are looking ahead to 2013 and releasing new trailers to get us all hopped up for next year (but I'm not sick of 2012 yet...)
New trailer for Stephenie Meyers' The Host (Movie release 3/29/12) . I've gotta re-read this book! It's been so long, I can't remember much except for the alien eyes.
A new trailer for the frequently-rescheduled and much-anticipated (by me for sure) adaptation of Max Brooks' World War Z (Movie release 6/21/13). Brad Pitt looks extra scruffy-hot and the trailer had me jumping with a few surprises. Look out for wicked fast zombies!
I love the book so much, but am confused by the trailer where the movie fits in with the novel which is an oral history of the zombie war and features multiple perspectives. Maybe that's why they have gone back to to drawing board so many times over the course of filming.
Speaking of zombies...a different and humorous take (it seems) is the film adaptation of Issac Marion's Warm Bodies (Movie release 2/1/13).
Although it had its humorous moments, I didn't necessarily get an over-the-top funny vibe from the novel, but I can see how it can be interpreted that way. Maybe I need to re-read this one...
I would be remiss in not including the most recent Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer.
Look for me at the theater Thursday at midnight!
Entertainment Weekly is featuring the beautiful cover and an exclusive trailer for Brodi Ashton's Everbound, the sequel the Everneath.
Ally Condie's Reached was released today (Just got it today and can't wait to dig in!) So, in celebration of the end of the series, here's the trailer for Reached:
Now something naughty-ish for your viewing pleasure: The book trailer for 50 Shades of Chicken by F L Fowler, a culinary take on E L James' 50 Shades series. Who knew trussing a chicken was so naughty?
I love zombies. I love musicals. A zombie musical, you say? Count me in!
