Amazing Nerdfighter, author and all-around cool cat, John Green, is celebrating a birthday tomorrow! Is honor of his turning another year older, I thought I would share a quote from one of my favorite books of all time: The Fault in Our Stars.

Green has written several incredible novels including An Abundance of Katherine's, Looking for Alaska and Will Grayson, Will Grayson (with David Levithan). Green is also quite the internet sensation creating Nerdfighters(dot)com with his brother Hank (where the duo are known as the Vlogbrothers), a place for "nerds" everywhere to unite and participate through their video diaries to each other.

John and Hank have also set up a yearly VidCon for the growing online video community as well as Project for Awesome fundraiser where participants post online videos promoting their favorite charities.

If you haven't checked out John and Hank's online community yet, you should head straight to You Tube and get started. Be prepared to spend hours, though, going through their videos!

So, happy birthday Mr. Green! Thanks for the fun and tears. Don't forget to be awesome!!!

  1. John Green like always has poured his heart in his work. This book makes you laugh, cry and makes us understand the world of people having cancer. The best virtue of this book is that it is not a slow book i.e it doesn't slow down. Some books after some amount of time get a bit boring but in case of this book it keeps getting interesting and there are many plots that are unexpected.I won't do any spoilers but I will like to tell you a bit about it.It is story about a girl named Hazel Grace who has Lung Cancer and how she is kinda alone and a boy named Augustus Waters comes into her life and her life revolves and changes because of him.
